  Sun Orthopedic Clinic opened with 20 beds

  Expanded to Sun General Hospital with 11 medical departments and 105 beds

  Opened another hospital site in Yu Seong: Yu Seong Sun Hospital with 121 beds

  Sun Dental Hospital opened at Jung-Chon Health Care Center, providing oral health care service

  Sun General Hospital commissioned to serve as a sponsoring Hospital for 2002 World Cup Soccer Tournament

  Picture Archiving Communication System began to operate, designed to replace conventional X-ray film usage, allowing immediate viewing of Xray images

  Ranked #1 nationwide in patient satisfaction for General Hospitals by the Family Public Health Ministry.

  Expanded to 17 medical departments with 183 beds in Yu Seong General Hospital
