Respect for Patients' Rights

A patient must be respected and protected for the rights during all courses of diagnoses and treatments. Therefore he or she has the following rights :

• 1. Hear a description of his or her disease, current state, treatment plan, and recuperation from medical doctors.
• 2.Hear a description of medical treatments including treatment, examination, and hospitalization and then select to be conducted or not.
• 3. Ensure the confidentiality on diagnosis and treatment by prohibiting to read on individual medical records with the exception of medical staff who have been legally responsible for him or one who is allowed legally.
• 4. Choose whether to participate in medical education and a new attempt to treat his or her disease.
• 5. Be guaranteed the privacy that is known about the medical services.
• 6. Be guaranteed the secretes of physical body, when he or she undresses for medical purpose.
• 7. Know about the special fields of charging medical doctors.
• 8. Know about the breakdown of medical costs.
• 9. Receive honest dealing from the medical staff. And,
• 10. Receive interest and respect as human being.
